ELEONORA DURAN

PAST STUDENT BOARD MEMBER - MIDWESTERN STATE UNIVERSITY

Eleanora was a student at Midwestern State University studying Respiratory Care. She was born and raised in the Netherlands and moved to Houston, Texas in 2014. She received her degree in interior design there, but she made the decision to change her career to respiratory care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her personal goal is to help improve access to health resources, ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their background, have equitable access to vital  healthcare services, which is why she joined the Think Tank.

Eleanora was recognized as a student on the Dean's list, President's honor roll, and Provost's honor roll, Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls. She also represented the Respiratory Therapist Association at Midwestern State University as a senator in the student government association.
