EMILY FREEMYER

PAST STUDENT BOARD MEMBER - ANGELO STATE UNIVERSITY

Emily is a senior at Angelo State University majoring in Health Science Professions (specialization in Public Health) and minoring in Spanish and Biology. She joined last year because she was inspired by the goals that this Think Tank had set for investigating and addressing public health needs in the West Texas. She has really enjoyed collaborating with students from other institutions and getting to work on projects in San Angelo and the greater West Texas community. 

At ASU, Emily has received recognition by being on the Dean's List and is involved in the Angelo State University Honors Program. Emily also serves as a Downtown San Angelo Student Board member, Tutor and mentor at The WHIT Program, and a Volunteer at Concho Valley PAWS.
