JULIA GUIDO

PAST STUDENT BOARD MEMBER - TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER EL PASO

Julia Guido was a third year medical student at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, and she holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Linguistics. In El Paso, Julia was involved as an Intern for Prevent Blindness Texas (2021-2023) and as a Peer Mentor. She is interested in healthcare access for underserved populations in West Texas and the southwestern US as a whole. She joined the think tank to collaborate with other professionals in the West Texas area to come up with interventions for underserved populations and to learn about health inequities affecting other areas in Texas.

In her free time, she hangs out with her dog and play volleyball.
