Kennedy King is a junior at Angelo State University majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She is a member of the Community Outreach and Vaccine Administration Clinic working groups within Think Tank. Kennedy joined Think Tank because she is passionate about bridging gaps in healthcare disparities and was drawn to an organization focused on actionable initiatives rather than just brainstorming. Through her involvement, she hopes to contribute to sustainable efforts that improve healthcare access and equity.
Kennedy’s dedication to academic excellence has earned her recognition on the Dean’s List for Fall 2023, Spring 2024, Fall 2024, and Spring 2025. She is also the recipient of multiple scholarships, including the Angelo State Honors Program Scholarship, the Angelo State Distinguished Scholarship, the Dr. Charles W. Livingston Scholarship, the Weldon and Virginia Fikes Scholarship, and the Primera Strong Scholarship. Beyond Think Tank, Kennedy is actively involved in the Angelo State Honors Program and Tri-Beta, the biology department’s honors society. She also serves as a coach for the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Ambassadors, an equine drill team that performs at rodeos across Texas, reflecting her leadership, mentorship, and community engagement both inside and outside the classroom.
