Mavis Luma Chenyi 

Luma Chenyi is a fourth-year dental student at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso – Woody L. Hunt School of Dental Medicine. She is a member of the Community Outreach, Mental Health, and Symposium working groups within Think Tank. Luma joined the organization to contribute to public health in the region and to do her part in addressing the gaps she has observed in access to care. She is passionate about helping create solutions that improve equity and access for underserved populations.

In addition to her role in Think Tank, Luma is active in the Student National Dental Association (SNDA) and is also pursuing a dual Master of Public Health degree, reflecting her commitment to integrating dentistry with broader public health initiatives.
