Mavis Luma Chenyi 

Mavis Luma Cheny is a third year dentistry student at TTUHSC School of Dentistry. Mavis is part of the Community Outreach and Mental Health working groups within Think Tank. Mavis joined the Think Tank because she is interested in the effects of social determinants of health in a area affected by systemic issues such as El Paso. Mavis would like to apply the concepts she learns in class as a dual MPH student into practice. Mavis also enjoys helping people and making a difference. Her extracurriculars and involvement include holding the position of Vice President and Programming Chair at Diveristy in Dentistry Mentorships, as well as Regional Coordinator Region 8 for the Student National Dental Association.
