Sergio Saucedo is a fourth-year medical student at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Paul L. Foster School of Medicine. He joined the Think Tank out of a deep passion for public health and a strong commitment to serving the people of West Texas. Within the Think Tank, Sergio is an active member of the Symposium and Mentorship working groups, where he contributes to shaping programming that fosters dialogue, education, and leadership development.
Outside of his Think Tank work, he serves as a student leader for both the El Paso Baptist Clinic and the Medical Student Run Clinic, reflecting his dedication to community-based care and improving access to health services for underserved populations. Sergio’s blend of clinical training, leadership, and community engagement positions him as an emerging physician-leader with a strong focus on health equity and public service.
