Sydney Partin

Sydney Partin is a sophomore pre-med student at Angelo State University with a major in biology and minors in chemistry and agricultural economics. She is part of the Health Policy working group within Think Tank. Sydney joined Think Tank because she is passionate about learning and helping the rural populations in West Texas. She wants to gain skills and knowledge about all aspects of healthcare that will help her in her future endeavors as a physician. She hopes to use her leadership and problem-solving skills in Think Tank to help in enhancing the quality of healthcare for Texans of all ages, demographics, and locations. Her achievements and recognition including being part of the Angelo State Dean's list for every semester she has attended, induction into ASU's Alpha Chi Honor Society for being in the top 10% of credit-classified juniors and seniors, and induction into ASU's Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society for being in the top 7.5% of credit-classified juniors. Her extracurriculars and involvement include being a member of ASU's Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society, a Rising Leaders Program Graduate, a member of the Honors Program and taking part in the scrapbooking and community service committees, a WHIT Program tutor, an Adult Literacy Council Board Member, a Good Samaritan Ministries Volunteer, and an Alpha Omega Hospice Volunteer.
