Taylen Day

Taylen Day is a second-year medical student at the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso. She is part of the Community Outreach, Mental Health, and Symposium working groups within Think Tank. Taylen joined Think Tank because she believes that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of background, income, or geography. In her encounters with the patient population in El Paso, she saw the importance of educating colleagues about culturally competent care. By contributing her time and skills, Taylen hopes to help create sustainable, community-driven solutions that improve health outcomes and empower underserved populations across West Texas.

Her dedication to advancing health equity has been recognized through her selection as an Indian Health Service Scholar. Beyond her role in Think Tank, Taylen continues to build her commitment to community engagement and culturally responsive care, reflecting her passion for service and advocacy as she advances through her medical training.
