TRESSA READING

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS - TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER SCHOOL OF MEDICINE

Tressa Reading is a first-year medical student at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. She joined the Think Tank to gain broader exposure to healthcare and make a difference in the underserved populations across Texas. She is passionate about contributing to meaningful efforts that address the needs of these communities. Additionally, Tressa's involvement in Think Tank has and will continue to help her become a more well-rounded future physician by providing insight into the diverse aspects of healthcare in West Texas. She is part of the Community Outreach and Symposium working groups within Think Tank. While at Angelo State University during her undergraduate years, Tressa earned the Angelo State University Distinguished Student Award of the College of Science and Engineering. Her extracurriculars and involvement at Angelo State included being the secretary of the Honors Program from 2021 to 2024 and the president of the Mathematical Association of America from 2022 to 2024.
